Pamela Kass Vynalek
A native of North Carolina, Pamela holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Communication Studies from Wingate University and a Nonprofit Leadership Certification from Duke University.
Prior to joining Harboring Hearts, she spent several years in the peer-to-peer fundraising world, supporting world-class medical research and resources. Pamela led the corporate partnerships team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation in support of its flagship fundraising campaign, STEPtember. She also served on the Development Team of the AVON 39 Walk To End Breast Cancer, assisting in numerous multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns across seven U.S. markets.
The work of Harboring Hearts resonates deeply with Pamela as her father received a successful heart transplant in August of 2016. After her family personally experienced the uncertainty and incredible financial burden of organ transplant, Pamela shifted her sights to meaningfully support the transplant and cardiac surgery community.
When she is not working, you can often find Pamela taking in a Broadway show, enjoying her adorable nieces and nephew, or with a camera in hand capturing the sights of the city she loves to explore and call home.
Pamela also serves as an active board member of the New York Caledonian Club and Wingate University Alumni Board.
Pamela’s favorite foods are pad thai and vegan mint chip ice cream.
