Happy Heart Month!

It’s the first day of February, and we celebrate and honor the journeys of our community, those near and far. Happy Black History Month and Heart Month. Everyone’s journey, whether it’s one’s life path or heart journey, is different.

Every day is a great day to be inspired, nurture your heart, and give hope to hearts everywhere. Our partner, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, shares the heart journey of one of their patients’ Bob Hoshour, Broadway CATS dancer.

 In 1983, minutes before going on stage, Bob received a call from his doctor, telling him he was about ready to have a heart attack. He had ARVD (arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia). Hear more about Bob’s heart journey here.
