Sebastian’s Story

Sebastian is eleven-years-old. He has received two heart transplants, the first in 2018, and his second in 2021.

Though he is currently receiving treatment for mild rejection, today he is feeling healthy and happy. Lauren, his mom, expects him to make a full recovery. Sebastian’s favorite things are playing retro video games like Pac-Man, creating gaming videos, drawing, and writing stories. “We received help with parking, which was essential to us. We also have to make very far trips to the hospital for visits with the team at Columbia. Without Harboring Hearts supporting us by providing overnight accommodations local to the area, we would have a very difficult time keeping up with Sebastian's care," mom shares.
